Setup SketchUp

Step 1: Accept Your Trimble Invitation

• Check your inbox for an invitation email from no-reply@trimblepaas.com.
• Click the link in the email to accept the invitation.
• Create a Trimble ID (if you don’t already have one).
• Verify your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email.

Important: You must accept the invitation and verify your email before you can access SketchUp.

Step 2: Install SketchUp on Your Device

• Download SketchUp Studio 2025 (choose Windows or Mac version).
• Install SketchUp following the instructions on the download page.
• Open SketchUp and click Sign in using your university Trimble ID.

A browser window will open → Sign in → You’ll see a success message → Close the browser → Return to SketchUp.

Important Usage Notes

• Your access is temporary and linked to this course.
• Licenses will be reallocated after your module ends.
• You can be signed in on up to 2 computers.
• You must be online to use SketchUp.
• Access is personal — you cannot share your account.

• Didn’t receive the invite? → Check your junk/spam folder first.
• Signed up with a different email? → You must use the same email you used for course registration.
