Helical (Textile Structure)

A helical textile structure refers to a configuration in which fibres, yarns, or textile elements are arranged in a spiral or coil-like formation, inspired by helical structures found in nature, such as DNA, tendrils, plant fibres, or animal muscle tissue. In bioinspired textiles, helical structures are used to mimic dynamic, responsive, or load-bearing behaviours seen in biological systems.
